Wow.  Being a project manager is darn hard work.  Much harder than I expected.  Between my day job making design decisions for other people’s homes, making design decisions on my home, AND managing all the subs myself, I am honestly, completely beat.  I am so glad I don’t have to do this all the time!  But what a learning experience!  I know I will be happy and proud of the entire experience when the renovation of my 117 year old house is complete, but I am still very much in the fog right now.  However, in just the last few days the house has transformed into something that resembles a house more than a construction site.  Drywall.  Yes, wonderful drywall.  I cannot see any studs anymore.

The space actually feels peaceful now!  So, now I can see a faint glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.  And perhaps, in a few more weeks, I will have the energy and clear mind to document the process in greater detail!  Stay tuned!
